Peace Camp
Progress in peace with Building leaders for peace organized a peace camp in Duhok.
With the participation of locals and internationals, the PIP team and BL4P were able to do a peace camp in Duhok. The camp lasted four days and was jam-packed with activities, outings, and special sessions on the character of peacemakers, Celebrating Diversity, conflict transformation, forgiveness and reconciliation, advocacy, and transforming our community.
The camp was made up of people from various cultures, backgrounds, and religions from all over Iraq.
And, on the last day of the camp, the PIP organization certified the participants.
Education
We are very pleased that we can offer English classes to the Sinjar community as one of the goals of peace progress. The English language, as we all know, is one of the most important things in the world. As a result, we are in the process of providing English language courses to help them improve their level.
Livelihood
Sport
One of Progress in Peace's goals is to assist and support youth in Sinjar and the surrounding area. Progress in Peace was pleased to announce the launch of four football tournaments in Sinjar, Bork, and Sinoni.
Helping poor families
Despite the lack of a real budget and all of the work being done on a volunteer basis, Progress in Peace was able to assist and support more than ten families in Sinjar. The families in the community who were the most vulnerable. Such activities will be carried out as we have funds to assist.
